- In the biggest news this week, the FCC repealed net neutrality regulations which prohibit broadband providers from blocking websites or charging for faster delivery of certain content. What will this mean for startups scaling new online businesses?
- Edtech startups and scale-ups from the Netherlands should apply for the Dutch edtech program in New York and Boston on January 29 - February 2. I'll be participating in the New York portion, which will consists of workshops and events, followed by an opportunity to attend the LearnLaunch conference in Boston. - The Center for American Entrepreneurship shared this week that 216 companies on the Fortune 500 were founded by immigrants or their children.
- European coworking company Mindspace raised $20M to launch in the US. The first two locations will be San Francisco and DC, with more to follow.
